The HBO series True Blood, she played the role of Daphne. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She began her teaching career teaching Reading in Kindergarten and the 1st Grade at Maury County. She got married in 1998 to her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and relocated to Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught the fourth grade. In 1999-2000, she taught as she completed her Master of Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She stepped out of her classroom in 2000 after they welcomed their baby boy Baylor. Ashley has been spending the past 15 years focusing on the growth of kids in her local congregation and in the community, while also serving in various roles. Ashley has led the Preschool Ministry at Thompson Station Church in various roles for more than 13 years. Ashley was a three-year resident at home, homeschooling her children. Ashley and her children taught the history of kindergarteners as well as the first graders in a homeschool tutorial. God showed her family, that although she enjoyed being at home with her children and having time with them, it was now time to take Ashley back to the classroom. Brent and Ashley both have five children. Silas Eliza Cruz are GCA Students. Baylor, who is a GCA graduated, is a student at UT Martin and plays baseball at the university. Callan also a GCA graduate, attends Western Kentucky University. The family is very active. family that enjoys playing sports, fishing and hunting with their family.
