Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. Lennox made it through on a student's stipend, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox felt that her skills weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox began her career in 1976 when she joined a band called Dragons Playground. The band did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 until 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British pop group. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her debut solo album Diva. It was released in 1992. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera a collection of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist, and singer. In the late 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while the lead singer in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career with her debut album Diva that produced a number of hit tracks, including Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa, a 1995 studio album features covers of songs like No MoreILove Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She has six solo studio albums and one compilation album.
